GeoLock Camera ("the App") is developed and published by NGH
("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains
what information the App accesses or processes, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the
GeoLock Camera Android app (package com.gps.geotag.live.earth.map.satellite).
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
GeoLock Camera does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any registration information to use the App. There is no login, no username/password, and we do not collect your name, email, or phone number through the App itself.
The App uses your device's camera to take photos and record video, and your microphone to capture audio when you record video. These are core features of the App and are used only while you are actively using the camera screen. This media is processed and saved directly on your device — we do not receive a copy of your photos or videos on our servers.
The App uses your device's precise and approximate location (foreground only — the App never accesses location in the background) to:
Your location coordinates are processed entirely on your device and are not sent to or stored on NGH's own servers. The only place location data leaves your device is when the App asks Google's Maps Platform service to render map tiles or resolve a place name for coordinates you are viewing — this is Google acting as the map/geocoding provider, governed by Google's own privacy terms, not a transfer of your data into an NGH database.
If location services are off, or permission is denied, the App still works for taking photos/video — it simply will not add a location stamp or EXIF GPS data.
"Share without location" option. Before sharing a photo, you can turn on "Share without location," which removes the GPS EXIF metadata from the shared copy of the file. Please note this only removes the hidden EXIF GPS field — if the photo has a visible location stamp burned into the image (part of the picture itself), that visible text is not removed by this option, because it has already been rendered into the image pixels at capture time.
Photos and videos you capture, or import via the system Photo Picker, are saved to your device's
local media storage (e.g. Pictures/GeoLock Camera, Movies/GeoLock Camera).
The App does not upload, host, sync, or transmit your photos or videos to any NGH server.
Deleting a file from within the App deletes it from your device's storage; we hold no separate copy.
The App lets you browse a list of publicly available live street/traffic cameras. To do this, the App:
These live streams are third-party public content that we do not host, own, or control. Viewing a stream opens YouTube, which has its own privacy policy and terms.
The App requests notification permission to show local status notifications (e.g. "export complete"), and uses standard network permissions (internet, network/Wi‑Fi state) to load map tiles, fetch the live-camera list, check for connectivity, and communicate with the advertising and analytics services described below.
GeoLock Camera is a free, ad-supported app. The App's build includes the following third-party SDKs. Some are used to serve ads, some to measure how the App is used and to diagnose crashes, and one to attribute app installs. We disclose all of them here, whether or not every one is actively serving ads in the current version, because they are compiled into the App you install.

These providers may use your advertising identifier and similar device signals for the purposes above. Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), the App presents a consent prompt (Google's User Messaging Platform) before using such identifiers for personalized advertising; you can decline personalized ads there, and you can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device's system settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android devices).
We do not sell your personal information.
GeoLock Camera is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Photos, videos, and location processing happen within your device's app sandbox. Network communication described in this policy uses HTTPS. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where third-party services listed in Section 3 process data (e.g. Google, Meta, AppLovin, Adjust), that data may be processed on servers located outside your country, subject to those providers' own safeguards and privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect a new feature or SDK. We will post the updated policy at this same URL with a revised "Effective date." Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
